About Me

    My name is Mari Elyse Walker. I'm a 17-year-old senior in high school. I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I absolutely love to write! After I graduate, I plan on studying Psychology and French at Hamline University (which is in Saint Paul).

    I started writing once I knew how. Of course, I wasn't very good; I've only just begun honing my skills as a writer. For several years, I wrote many a piece of bad, BAD verse. Then, in December of 2005, I started to write my first piece of original prose (I also write Real Person Slash) in two or three years. That piece of prose is called Lily, and my dear baby has spawned a monster that I am tenatively calling Lenoir, which is a series of four stories based on three women and their mother. Lily is the first of the series, followed by... uh, the other three. I'm not quite sure what order they go in, and I've written all four stories!

    Anyway, since I finished Lily, I have written several more short stories: The Voiceless Abortion, Lights Out, Darla, Alyssa, Renee, and some pieces of verse that I am rather fond of (it won't last, trust me). I am working on getting more of these from paper to internet, which is a long and rather tedious process.
